Author Information

Vicki Ann Bonner was born and raised in Georgia, and grew up in foster care. She received her degree in Business Administration and Computer Information Technology at Gwinnett College of Lilburn, Georgia. She began writing her first children's picture book during the pandemic of 2020. Her love of writing began at an early age, while obsessing over her favorite authors, Zerna Sharp and William S. Gray, book series about ""Dick and Jane"" for basal readers, in the early 1970's. When not writing, she can be found traveling or journaling. Vicki currently lives in Atlanta with her son, daughters, chihuahua terrier mix named, Bentley, and ""Blue"" the Siamese Cat. Travis A. Thompson is an artist and educator from Charlotte, North Carolina. With ten years of experience working with children within public schools, he has seen first hand the importance of how outside influences can shape a child's view of themselves. It is his goal to make sure that the mark he leaves on this world is a positive one. Travis hopes to continue to create literary works and illustrations that allow all children to see themselves represented in a positive light. He is currently working on his next two children's books, one about the Tooth Fairy and the other a follow up to his first book ""The Color Wheel Kids"".
