Ruth E. Van Reken, co-founder of Families in Global Transition" An intriguing (and fun!) way to engage a child's heart and mind during the inevitable ups and downs of moving. Ruth E. Van Reken, co-founder of Families in Global Transition Author InformationKatja Aegerter is a passionate accompanying spouse of a Swiss diplomat. She is German by birth, Swiss by marriage and a global professional who has lived in eight countries on three continents. Along the way she changed careers and became a psychologist specialising in globally mobile families and Third Culture Kids. Her work and passion are to support parents of Third Culture Kids, equip parents with the knowledge and a toolbox for their global journey with their children, and raise awareness about the impact of mobility on children and families. She is greatly interested in psychological research that further investigates factors impacting the life, well-being and adaptation of mobile families and children. Currently, she lives with her husband, two children and fluffy dog Lobo in Skopje, North Macedonia. Antje Peters has lived happily in the most beautiful state of Saarland in Germany for her entire life. Her main profession is being a teacher for 10 to 16-year-old children, and she teaches them German, history, religion, arts and music. Art and music have also played an important part in her personal life: Antje passionately plays the bassoon in an orchestra, sings in a choir and is now learning to play the organ. Creativity has forever played an important role and she has dedicated much of her private time to drawing - taking classes in watercolour, acrylic drawing, nude painting and learning how to illustrate. When her sister Katja told her about her children's book and was looking for an illustrator, she immediately offered to join the team. Antje lives with her husband and foster daughter in Blieskastel, Germany. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
