Good Yoga Practices: A Manual of Yogic Techniques

Overview

This book covers standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, Mudras and bandhas and various protocols by competent authority. The book explains the correct procedures, their variation, the benefits of the training, and the contra-indications based on internationally peer reviewed publications, effectively  represented in quality assurance formats   Since no such established SOPs exist for training Yoga practitioners or as a resource for practice of integrative medicine, this book will be useful for yoga and meditation academics besides acting as a reliable resource for the Sports bodies of various countries, ethical bodies and researchers. As Yoga is now of growing interest for modern medical practitioners, sportspersons and policy makers, a structured  format has been evolved to cater to the demand of Yoga education, practice and research.
