He is a civilian doctor at the Department of Plastic Surgery in Armed Forces Capital Hospital. He has more than 500 peer reviewed international publications. Dr Hwang was the President of Korean Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association (KCPCA), and Korean Society of Traumatology.
