An appealing addition to the series and to any library collection. --School Library Journal Lewin's marker-and-watercolor artwork depicts the main story elements, leaving plenty of white space in the background. . . . The simple, often repeating text is well placed on the page, allowing beginning readers to easily predict unfamiliar words from the context and the art. --Booklist The use of repetitive phrases and homophones are geared toward new readers . . . The watercolor illustrations use a limited palette and a light touch. --The Horn Book Guide
