Author Information

GLENN DROMGOOLE is the author of many books, including Learning from Longhorns, Aggie Savvy, 100 Great Things About Texas, and A Small Town in Texas. He lives in Abilene, where he is the chairman of the West Texas Book and Author Festival, Senior Editor of State House Press, and co-owner of Texas Star Trading Co. BARBRA CLACK is an artist and a teacher. She has taught art on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Shiprock, New Mexico, in economically disadvantaged communities in the Ozark Mountains, and in Texas' public schools. She has a BA degree from Ouachita Baptist University and has studied art in the MFA program at the University of Arkansas and mural painting in Guadalajara, Mexico. Barbra lives in Albany, Texas, with her husband Jay.
