Author Information

Michael Nott is an American photographer born in Greybull, Wyoming. He currently lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. Nott began his art career in Austin, Texas as a well-known punk poster artist. His work appears in a number of poster retrospectives from that era. During his time in Austin, Nott studied photography under the legendary street photographer, Gerry Winogrand. Observing up-close how Winogrand worked and absorbing his philosophy on photography greatly influenced Nott's work. Michael Ray Nott
