She is currently a certified mediator of the Malaysian Mediator Centre, and a board member of the International Sustainable Development Research Society. Her research focuses on aspect of environmental laws mainly water law, heritage law and climate change law. Ainul Jaria Maidin is a Professor at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia. Her research area focuses on property law, good governance in land administration, land planning and development law, good governance and sustainable development, conflict resolution and peace building, and mediation.
