Overview

Those coming from the north by sea to the tomb of the Apostle James have been doing so since the Middle Ages via the 'Camino Inglés' - and not just the eponymous English. The route, only around 120 km long, leads past rugged coastlines, through the green lungs of Galicia, all the way to Santiago. A good alternative for anyone who finds the well-known French Way too long and too crowded. In this travel diary, I report on my experiences and encounters: about pilgrims with wheelchairs or strollers. About overcoming the language barrier. About wild bulls, nimble foxes, and purring cats.
