Overview

When Sean McDonough's wife abandoned him, their house went into foreclosure. She'd had multiple affairs and left him for her latest lover, leaving him crushed. All the depression he'd been carrying around became too much. He became withdrawn and felt hopeless. Meanwhile, his former wife married her lover, who would go on to sexually abuse his daughters, continuing a cycle that the author thought he'd broken.
