Overview

In the Wastelands, even the smallest mistakes end tragically. For the survivors of SolAir 523, death has already come. With resources dwindling, tensions rise, but a group of students under the leadership of Teah Lancey work to stretch resources in the hope that rescue will come. Some have died in the crash. Some lay dying. Some died trying to make their escape. And some survived the crash unscathed. A few of these passengers begin to exhibit startling physical and psychic gifts. One particular student, Teah's son, Josh, exhibits the most powerful gifts of all. These powerful gifts once made Josh's father a dangerous man. Now, Josh claims that he has been in communication with his father through a neural-link and that his father is on his way. Teah fears that Josh may be right.
