Reviews

""We LOVED reading books like these to our kids, and look forward, Lord willing, to reading them one day to our grandchildren! God Is Great, God Is Good beautifully introduces kids to the most important subject they'll ever consider--God's character. As A.W. Tozer said, what someone thinks about God becomes the most important thing about them. Scott and Lesley are the right people to do it--they are not only faithful parents and now fruitful grandparents, but also trusted leaders and faithful theologians. You'll be blessed as you share this book with your kids and grandkids!"" J.D. and Veronica Greear The Summit Church, Raleigh-Durham, NC ""This fun and engaging book teaches children what we mean when we pray, ""God is great, God is good,"" even when difficult times come. In doing so, it sets a necessary foundation for children not only in how to pray regularly, but for understanding what it really means for God to be great and good. My kids love it!"" Kristin Kellen Associate Professor of Biblical Counseling & Associate Director of EdD Studies, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary ""The God of the Bible is awesome, gracious, kind, and loving. We can teach these precious truths to our children from the time they are small. This book is a wonderful place to start!"" Danny and Charlotte Akin Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary ""God Is Great is the perfect book to read with little ones about prayer. It's fun and creates space for kids to express their own questions while providing parents and grandparents an accessible theological framework for teaching kids about who our God is. Not only that, but the illustrations are beautiful! Scott has created a wonderful book that is now going to be my go-to gift for baby showers and kids' birthdays alike!""
