"Barbara (Babs) Cafarella has worked in early childhood education for over forty-five years. Always imagining new worlds and stories for her students to explore, in retirement, her stories are coming to life on the page for the very first time. Babs has two children and six granddaughters whom she adores reading to. She is an almost lifelong native of Richmond, Virginia. Nicole Gomez is an illustrator, painter, and muralist who has studied at the esteemed VCU School of the Arts in Richmond, Virginia; The Illustration Academy; and the Medici School of the Arts in Florence, Italy.
