Overview

LIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE Many people try to explain why life exists here on Earth. But there's an even a deeper question that needs to be addressed: Why does life exist throughout our universe? Our universe is huge in size and has been around for 14 billion years. Other Earth-like planets with life are probably scattered all over the universe. If life thrives here on Earth, then life should thrive on other habitable planets. Science suggests that life throughout this universe appears to be very likely. There are many requirements for life to exist on another planet. But all of these requirements are common when considering how many stars there are in the entire universe. And the elements that produce life are also common throughout the universe. There has to be other Earth-like planets with life. The universe has about 100 billion galaxies that each have 100 billion stars or more. There are other stars to account for equaling about 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 total stars in our known universe. No one knows how much life is really out there. But there could be millions or billions of Earth-like planets in our universe right now. A UNIVERSE FULL OF LIFE If there's 1 Earth-like planet per 20 galaxies, that would equal 5 billion habitable planets right now. That's 1 habitable planet per 2 trillion stars. So this estimate of 5 billion Earth-like planets for the entire universe is definitely possible. There are no exact percentages for these requirements so this is just a rough estimate. Scientists agree with the possibility of billions or trillions of habitable Earth-like planets in our universe. It's also known that just 15 million years after the big bang, the whole universe could've been one large habitable zone as it cooled down to a livable temperature. During this period of time, microscopic life could've arisen while the entire universe was at room temperature. (Harvard University astronomer Avi Loeb) So there could've been microscopic life forms just 15 million years after the Big Bang. Therefore life could've arisen during the following 14 billion years. It's possible that plenty of life could've existed in the universe's past. (Space.com, Big Bang Theory: 5 Weird Facts About Seeing the Universe's Birth) Scientists now estimate that there are about 8 billion habitable planets in our galaxy alone. Although only a small percentage of these planets would have the other requirements for life to exist. But there are still 99,999,999,999 other galaxies in the universe to consider. Science suggests that there could be billions of Earth-like planets in our universe right now, not counting the past or future. Life probably existed somewhere else in the past, and it's likely that other Earth-like planets will form in the future. Time must be added to the equation and greatly increases the chances for life in this universe. This is a strong piece of evidence that a Creator is responsible for life throughout this universe. It can't just be a fluke of nature or the result of endless coincidences. It seems to be the result of an intentional creation. These billions of Earth-like planets make our universe seem like a deliberate creation. How can someone not draw this conclusion with so many habitable solar systems just like ours? It's not like there's just a few, there's millions of Earth-like planets with life at the very least. And that's just considering the present time right now. COINCIDENCE If you stumbled upon a parking lot full of millions of cars, would you assume that they all exist by random coincidences? Did these complex parts just happened to form on their own? Did the batteries, fluids, pistons, timing chains, transmissions, wheels, brake parts, steering wheels, and so on all just happen to exist by mere chance? That doesn't seem possible. And a car is nowhere near as complicated as life forms are.
