One of Ransom's most successful high interest, low reading age reading programmes. Goal! is ideal for children who are struggling to develop the basics of reading and who need structured systematic phonics-based reading books with a higher-interest age. The Goal programme is based round Letters and Sounds phonics scheme and offers structured progression over five levels. The level 1 pack includes six books with only pictures and no words, to introduce students to books and narratives without focusing on texts. It corresponds to Phase 1 of Letters and Sounds. It includes one accompanying workbook.
