In the 50's the Phillies were known as the Whiz Kids, as they were the youngest team in baseball and won the National League pennant. They averaged just 26 years of age. The Phillies then went on to win the World Series in 1980, and again in 2008. Author, Darla Hall, created this product as a gift for a little boy in the hospital.
