Author Information

Claire Philip is a graduate of the University of Kent in English and American Literature, Claire has edited and written hundreds of non-fiction titles from board books to atlases and encyclopedias for publishers such as Weldon Owen and Miles Kelly. Steven Wood graduated with a degree in illustration from Birmingham City University. He has illustrated more than 100 books for children with detailed artwork that immediately engages his young readers. His main focus is always the cast of characters, bringing life and movement to his artwork. Subtle humor is also a key feature in Steven's illustrations, influenced by the adventure stories he loved as a child.. Steven lives and works from his home in North London, England. When not working, his favorite hobby is stealing cookies from his wife and blaming the 'house mouse'.
