From childhood Shanee developed an early love of art, literature and poetry that constantly evolves. Her first published poem hailed from an elementary school poetry contest commemorating 9/11. From there Shanee never stopped writing poetry, music, plays, and various works.As a conscious parent, she is always collaborating with her toddler- creating stories, games, and rhyming songs or poetry that aid in developing cognitive skills, build on loving principles, & contribute to raising a self-assured child. As the notes section of her phone began to overflow it seemed a natural next step to share some of these whimsical treasures with the world.Go Away, Covid-19! is Shanee's debut children's book.Born in Orlando, Florida, Shanee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting - Minor in Religion- from Florida State University and is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Health Educator granted by National Holistic Institute in Los Angeles, California.
