He is the founding Editor of Globalizations journal and the ""Rethinking Globalizations"" book series from Routledge. Dr. Gills is also a founding Editor of the Review of International Political Economy. A former Fellow of the Transnational Institute, Amsterdam, and present fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, he has published widely in the fields of critical Globalization Studies, world system theory, global history, and Critical Development Studies.
