Akira Iriye is Charles Warren Professor of American History, Emeritus, at Harvard University. Akira Iriye is Charles Warren Professor of American History, Emeritus, at Harvard University. Jürgen Osterhammel is Professor of Modern History at the University of Konstanz. Wilfried Loth is Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the University of Duisberg-Essen. J. R. McNeill is University Professor in the Department of History and School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Peter Engelke is a Senior Fellow at the Strategic Foresight Initiative at the Atlantic Council in Washington, DC.
