Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJoan Nyika holds a PhD in Science, Engineering, and Technology from the University of South Africa and an MSc. in Land and Water Management from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, she is a lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya and a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Johannesburg. In her research work, she specializes in hydrobiogeochemistry and has published more than 40 journal articles and book chapters in the discipline. She is also involved in teaching, supervising and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. Megersa Olumana Dinka holds a PhD from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Science, Austria. He did postdoctoral research at Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. He has an MSc in Irrigation Engineering from ArbaMinch University, Ethiopia. He has more than 18 years of experience as an academician and about 22 years of experience as a researcher. Currently, he is the Full Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering Science at the University of Johannesburg. He has expert knowledge in the water resource engineering discipline specific to hydrology, hydraulics, and water management aspects. He has taught various courses and modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels successfully. Currently, he is teaching Hydrology, Hydraulics and Water Treatment Technology Modules at the University of Johannesburg. Moreover, he also supervised several postgraduate students (32 MSc and 10 PhD) successfully.
