NITIN GOVIL is Assistant Professor of Media Studies and Sociology at the University of Virginia. JOHN MCMURRIA is Assistant Professor of Communications at DePaul University in Chicago. RICHARD MAXWELL is Professor and Chair of Media Studies at Queens College, City University of New York.
