Young people want to know more about different kinds of people, cultures, places, and the problematic issues of the world, such as environmental and climate problems, world hunger, poverty, water shortages, human rights violations, and armed conflicts. They also want to learn about solutions to these problems. Yet they tend to get their information about what's happening in the world from the TV and Internet.
