Michael Nagler is professor emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley, where he founded the Peace and Conflict Studies Program and developed its courses in nonviolence and meditation. Perhaps best known as co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work, Martin Rutte is the president of Livelihood, a management consulting firm in Santa Fe, New Mexico, that explores the deeper meaning of work and its contribution to society.
