Tough Jobs! is a new narrative non-fiction series covering popular historical topics through a variety of colourful jobs in a down-to-earth, readable style, with plenty of toilet humour! Each chapter features a double page fact spread and there is a glossary at the end. In Gladiator you are taking lessons in gladiatorial combat at the Colosseum itself! Experience what it's like to try out gladiatorial gear and weapons and to learn some tricks of the trade. But it's not all fun and games. What will happen when you get the chance to witness a real, live fight? You'll find it's a tough job being a gladiator.
