Overview

In Give God the Glory Books one and two, I have chosen what I believe to be the best known and loved hymns to Christians around the world. Book two contains: Amazing Grace, Angels From the Realms of Glory, At the Cross, Have Thine Own Way, Lord, Jesus Loves the Little Children, Jesus Wants Me For a Sunbeam, Nothing But the Blood of Jesus, Oh, How I Love Jesus, Oh, When the Saints Go Marching In, Sweet Hour of Prayer, What a Friend We Have in Jesus. These hymns may be played as easy beginner solos or as a duet with the optional jazzy chord accompaniments. I have tried to the best of my ability to pattern these books after my book Merry Christmas From Middle C published by Neil A. Kjos Music Company in 2012. Both books were re-edited in 2016.

I was raised in Indiana. I attended Austin Peay and Indiana State Universities and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music education. I played professionally in Houston, Tx for nearly 20 years, before starting a teaching business, which I have done now for 20 years. I had the great fortune of having my first book, Merry Christmas From Middle C WP1164, published by Kjos Publishing Company in 2012. In 2014, my next two books, Ragtime and Blues books one and two, WP1173 and WP1174, published by Kjos as well.
