She is based in Edinburgh. Claudia Martin has written extensively for children and young adults. She specializes in books on geography, history, technology, current affairs and the natural world. She lives in London. Thomas Canavan has written more than 50 books for children and young adults. He specialises in science writing, but has also written books about history, maths, art, and even kids' joke books.
