This is a postmodern examination of what it means to be a girl. Reaction to the ""new"" girl of the new millennium has been diverse - but, what does it actually mean to be a ""girl"" in the 21st century? This study aims to find out. It presents a collection of essays on girlhood, girls and girl culture.
