Kreiter/Flyaway is a recipient of a 2010 Isadora Duncan Award for Special Achievement and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Work Fund, Meet the Composer's Commissioning Music/USA Program and the Rockefeller/MAP fund. Artistic Director Jo Kreiter is a San Francisco-based dancer/choreographer with a background in political science.
