OverviewGIORGIONE By Herbert Cook Giorgione (Giorgio Barbarelli or Giorgio del Castelfranco, 1475-1510) is one of the great Italian Renaissance artists. Based in Venice, Giorgione's pupils included Titian (Giorgione himself was taught by Giovanni Bellini. Some of Giorgione's works were completed by Titian).
