Overview

Preaching is a communal event. In Gifts of Grace in a Place of Peace, Michael P. Hanck discovers himself, while a vicar, to be a preacher, with the help of God and his congregation. Michael P. Hanck is a Lutheran Preacher. He has worked as a Program Staff Person at a Daytime Homeless Shelter, a Live-In Assistant at L'Arche Harbor House, a Vicar at a Lutheran Church in New Hampshire, and was once a mighty fine Dishwasher at a Restaurant. He lives in a new place every year or so, making it pointless to speculate about where he could now be living. Undoubtedly, wherever he is living, he will hike, read, write, brew beer, and eventually grow a beard.
