Amit Mehra, who is a Chartered Accountant by profession, retired to India after 35 years in Hong Kong . He is passionate about writing both poetry and fiction and his retirement in India afforded him more time to pursue his passion. His poetry is inspired by daily life, emotions, mythology and personal events close to his heart. Besides writing Amit is an avid stamp collector and also enjoys hiking with his family and friends. Ghosts of Yesterday and Other Poetry is his first book as a poet .
