Ghosts of the Overlap

Overview

Beneath the quiet town of Briar Hollow, Texas, reality is beginning to tear. When violent gravity pulses shake the Briar Hollow Museum of the Unseen, Rowan and Maeve discover the fractures beneath the building are no longer just attracting predators from the dark-they are pulling in echoes of other timelines. Ghostlike figures begin appearing throughout the museum halls, each one a displaced fragment of lives that unfolded differently. Some echoes are harmless. Others know things they shouldn't. And a few are warnings from futures that have already collapsed. As the fractures widen, a terrifying intelligence known as the Harvester begins using human bodies as living conduits to spread antler-like geometry through the cracks in reality. Townspeople vanish, echoes multiply, and the boundary between worlds weakens with every pulse. Rowan attempts to stabilize the fractures using ancient geometric structures hidden beneath the museum, but each attempt risks making the overlap worse. Meanwhile Maeve must confront a version of herself from another timeline-one who knows exactly how the town will fall. If the fractures fully open, Briar Hollow will become the first place where multiple realities collapse into one. And the Harvester will finally have a doorway into the living world. But even if Rowan and Maeve survive the night... the war between timelines has only just begun.
