Overview

Written specifically for the novice, Getting Started in Trading explains the basics of trading, in any time frame. While most beginners books answer such technical questions as What is a put and What is a call , this book describes both the what of trading and the how: how do I place a trade, how do I select a broker and what do I tell them when I open my account? It provides detailed information on selecting a computer, software packages, and data sources. A comprehensive primer for the novice trader, covering everything from hardware to trading systems to choosing a broker Outlines the phenomenally growing array of brokerage, software, and information products and services Discusses how to create a personalized trading system, backtest it, and evaluate your performance
