Overview

Making it to hockey's highest league has been a struggle for Michael Prestifilippo. Now that he's been a Steelhawk for a full season, his roster spot should be assured. Except training camp finds him fighting up-and-coming prospects and new trade targets. It's probably not the best time to get involved with a teammate's sister. Maisie Kelly has grown up in a hockey family, so she knows the kind of girls the players target. And it's definitely not her. Besides, running the kitchen of her family's pub keeps her too busy to bother with relationships. When one of her brother's teammates shows interest, he has to be messing with her. Right? Michael's pursuit nudges Maisie out of her comfort zone, while she awakens in him buried feelings and needs, but can they both overcome their respective pasts and forge a future together?
