Author Information

My name is Haley Snyder and I am the author of Get That Girl a Cheeseburger: Eating Disorder Myths and Misnomers now available here as well as on Amazon in both paperback and kindle formats. My aim with this book is to educate people on the dangers of eating disorders, encourage people toward recovery, validating the very human struggle that we all face. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota as well as a survivor of an eating disorder and post traumatic stress disorder. I am currently spending my time writing, being involved in my community, and raising awareness regarding mental illness. I have a passion for people, and I hope to make a difference in the world with my writing. The stigma surrounding mental illness is pervasive and constricting, it is my hope that we can break the stigma and get help for the people who need it.
