Neal is a lifetime educator spending half his career teaching social studies and coaching sports activities. After obtaining his administrative degree, Neal was the Principal of an alternative high school overseeing the special education department and ended his career as Principal of a therapeutic day school for autistic individuals. With retirement, Neal is working part-time with the park district and helps coordinate a fitness program for adults with disabilities. Neal and his wife Karen, have 6 children between them and 14 grandchildren with more to come. They enjoy biking, spending time at their lake cabin and visiting wineries. Kerrie is currently a high school student with exceptional art skills. Caitlyn is Neal's daughter-in-law. She is a guru of marketing and graphic design.
