Dr. Evelyn Yvonne Jenkins, the daughter of Evelyn Odessa Cobb and Philip Jenkins, is a native of Brunswick, Georgia, currently residing in Clinton, Maryland, a suburb of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. She is an alumna of Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she achieved her Doctor of Philosophy Degree, specializing in Organizational Leadership. She is the CEO of Jenkins & Associates Consulting, providing services to the Federal Government in Business Consulting, debt elimination, energy conservation and served on the Board of Directors of Applied Computing Technologies, Inc. in Springfield, Virginia. Through Jenkins & Associates LLC, she renovates real estate and engages in both Long and Short Rentals (AirBnb). She is the Founder and President of National Congress of Black Women-Prince George's County, Maryland, Inc., a nonprofit organization where she is also on the Board of Directors in Washington, DC.She is a flutist in the Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church Orchestra in Fort Washington, Maryland, where she attends regularly; and prior to that, she served twenty-five years in the United States Navy, retiring as a Surface and Aviation Warfare Qualified Master Chief (E9) Personnelman.
