First and foremost I want to state the obvious, crime doesn't pay. I regret the actions that I took that hurt myself and others. I paid for my actions. I'll do my best to summarize a long story. I was living the American Dream. I had a beautiful wife and the future looked bright. Suddenly my American Dream turned into a nightmare. The feds showed up at my office and started asking questions. I made incriminating statements. I honestly believed I could get off if I hired a fancy high priced lawyer. I was wrong. I was looking at twenty years in prison. I paid a heavy price. I ended up pleading guilty and was sentenced to prison, house arrest and probation. I thought probation was worst than prison. I'm not a lawyer, but I was able to get off probation early by myself. I cherish my freedom. In the future I hope I can do more to improve the lives of ex-offenders. I wanted to share with others how I was able to get off probation early.
