This book is a collection of 18 articles written in the last 30 years by the author on methodological, terminological and historical problems of Religious Studies. Some of them are rewritten, others are only revised or complemented. An introductory essay provides the reader with the autobiographical reflections, necessary for a good understanding of the book. Das Buch enthält 18 Aufsätze des Autors aus den letzten 30 Jahren, die sich mit wissenschaftsgeschichtlichen, methodologischen und terminologischen Problemen der Religionswissenschaft beschäftigen. Einige sind neubearbeitet, andere ergänzt worden. Ein einführender Essay gibt autobiographische Reflexionen wieder, die zum Verständnis der Arbeiten beitragen.
