Author Information"Lisa Baker has been teaching music and theater for over 13 years. She has always enjoyed writing, starting with her high school creative writing class, which has mostly been a pastime until recently. She graduated from Grand Canyon University, summa cum laude, with her B.S. in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in English while working and helping raise kids. She lives in Southern California with her husband of 25 years. They have two adult children who have enjoyed the family's annual Christmas letter in the form of a poem that Lisa always writes. When she's not traveling with her husband, or teaching her students, Lisa also enjoys performing at the local community theaters in her area. This is Lisa's second published book. Her first one, ""In All of Your Days Have You Seen the Ways an Animal Plays an Instrument?"" is available at any online book retailer. You can find out more about Lisa and her upcoming books from her website ReadingRhythmsAndRhymes.com. Corinne Grant is an artist living on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Though she is currently studying to become an occupational therapist, she originally studied painting at a small liberal arts college in New England. Illustrating a children's book has been a bucket list item of Corinne's since she first started drawing and was thrilled to have the opportunity to help imagine little Gertrude and her adventures. Corinne loves historic New England architecture and spent some time learning carpentry and painting homes. She tries to incorporate architectural details in her work as well as the beautiful landscapes seen through many walks." Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
