Author Information

Born in 1863, REINHARD SCHEER succeeded von Pohl as Fleet C-in-C in January 1916 and planned and lead the Jutland operation. After the fleet mutiny in November 1918 he was dismissed by the Kaiser. He died in 1928. DR ANDREW LAMBERT is the author of Admirals: The Naval Commanders who Made Britain Great.
