GUNTHER HELLMANN teaches Political Science at Johann Wolfgang University in Frankfurt, Germany. He has published on German foreign policy, European and international security and international relations (IR) theory. He previously held teaching positions in Berlin and Darmstadt. Currently he serves as Co-Chair of the German IR section as well as Co-Editor of the German IR journal Zeitschrift fnr Internationale Beziehungen.
