Anja Amend-Traut ist Inhaberin des Lehrstuhls für Deutsche und Europäische Rechtsgeschichte, Kirchenrecht und Bürgerliches Recht an der Universität Würzburg. Prof. em. Dr. Wolfgang Sellert war von 1977 bis 2002 ordentlicher Professor für Bürgerliches Recht und Zivilprozessrecht sowie für Deutsche Rechtsgeschichte an der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. Peter Oestmann ist Professor für Bürgerliches Recht und Deutsche Rechtsgeschichte an der Universität Münster.
