His second adventure takes him to the French countryside on a treasure hunt to locate a valuable owl statue, with the proceeds destined for his favorite charity. As GEORGE embarks on these missions, he learns about human and animal emotions, often facing tough decisions that challenge his mission objectives. Author Information
Nessa Bellido Schwarz is a Latina author who writes about history, science, nature, and the joys and perils of growing up. She lives in Southern California with her husband, son, and a tortoise named Leonardo Da Vinci. Nessa is a longtime member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and her work has been published in Highlights magazine. GEORGE the Flybot is her debut chapter-book series for children. Jason Fruchter is an illustrator and animator living his childhood dream. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Jason moved to New York City and worked for MTV Animation. Later, he cofounded A&J Studios, working with Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, and Sanrio to illustrate popular characters for children. He now lives in Seattle, Washington, where he continues to draw well-known characters and create new character designs.
