Geography Postcards

Overview

Inspired by studies in Cultural Geography, this paper presents the results of a study interested in outlining the importance of Fieldwork in Geography for the training of geographers and the circumstances surrounding this methodology in contemporary times. Considering the purposes of this study, we identified the main data from the Boletim Paulista de Geografia (No. 84), which points us towards reflecting on the similarities in the discussions that figure as theoretical-methodological subsidies on Fieldwork in/for Geography. The themes and concepts collected indicate that, despite the plurality of experiences in Fieldwork, it remains under constant construction, evolving and constituting itself in accordance with the very construction of geographical science, thus allowing us to advance in the analysis of Fieldwork in Cultural Geography, that is, the systematization of humanistic ideas and their applicability in Fieldwork. To this end, the ""Postal Geography"" project will be proposed as a way of showcasing fieldwork experiences in Geography.
