Overview

This is a magnificent celebration of the work of one of the world's foremost interior designers - Geoffrey Bradfield. This lavishly illustrated volume illuminates the prolific aesthetic realm of one of the world's most celebrated and style-setting interior designers, Geoffrey Bradfield. South-African born Bradfield began his journey to the top of the interior design world in New York where he found work in the studios of a number of established designers, before meeting the legendary designer Jay Spectre, with whom he formed an incredibly successful partnership. After Spectre's death, Bradfield moved on to form his own unique signature style - for which he has garnered massive critical and commercial acclaim. Like the prescient paintings and sculptures that are integral to Bradfield's work, each page in this sumptuous volume reveals the designer as an artist, setting out to break new visual ground through the creative language of colour and composition.

Reviews

It s totally obvious to me that Geoffrey Bradfield designs environments in layers, making a syntax where a sculpture or painting will be the object or the focal point of the whole enterprise. This can only come from a person with a deep devotion, respect, and love for art. You get that when you look at his work.
