Overview

Since fuzzy logic was introduced by Lotfi Zadeh in the mid-1960s, and genetic algorithms by John Holland in the early 1970s, these two fields have widely been the subjects of academic research. These two fields, with neurocomputing techniques, are recognized as a major part of soft computing. This collection aims to show how this group of computing techniques might produce human-centred intelligent systems in the future.
