Overview

For thirty days you can journey with God from creation to the establishment of a people. The daily journey includes: suggested Bible reading, theme verse, a devotional connecting Old and New Testament Scriptures with personal experiences then and now. The short title, ""GENESIS"" lends itself to curiosity about beginnings. The sub-title, ""God Said It..."" brings curiosity about the manner in which God spoke and how His words affected the people of Genesis and people today. We see them as real people and we know God sees us as real people. The second sub-title includes my favorite part, ""Conversations."" They are completely imaginary. They might answer the question, ""If I were one of the Bible characters, how might I speak to God and how would He respond?"" The book is interactive for individuals or groups, with thought questions for response each day.

Ethel Green spent sixteen years in public education and approximately fifty years assisting her husband in pastoral ministry, acquiring a passion for Bible study. Ethel graduated with a B.S. in elementary education from Eastern Nazarene College. Her M.S. degree is from the University of Southern Maine with a concentration in exceptionalities. The Greens have three daughters and are now into the third generation. Those ""grands"" are grand.
