Die Bibel ist eines der großen werke der weltliteratur, und in der Genesis beginnt (natürlich) alles. Genesis ist eine geschichte, die unbedingt jeder kennen sollte. Diese säkulare version von Genesis ist, wie der name schon sagt, hoffentlich eine neutrale erzählung der geschichte, eine ohne die subtile missionierung, die oft in kinderbüchern über religion zu finden ist. Die säkulare Genesis geschichte beginnt mit einer diskussion darüber, wie wir als menschen vor langer zeit lebten, warum wir geschichten erzählten und mythologien schufen. Anschließend geht es weiter zu den sieben tagen der schöpfung, Adam und Eva, Abraham, Isaak, Jakob und endet mit Joseph in Ägypten. Bei dem buch handelt es sich keineswegs um eine vollständige nacherzählung der Genesis, sondern vielmehr um eine kurze einführung, die kinder mit der geschichte vertraut machen soll. Geeignet für kinder im alter zwischen 4 und 8 jahren.

Ken Fields at best credits himself as being an amateur author, occasionally gathering the wherewithal to put together a book on a topic that interests him.He is a graduate of Brown University and began his career on Wall Street working as an analyst at a large very well known investment bank in their real estate investment banking group. He has owned and developed properties throughout Miami-Dade, New Orleans, New York and Connecticut.As an entrepreneur, Fields has since owned, managed, been a partner, an investor, a business development ""guru"" in more than a dozen some odd ventures with varying degrees of success. Along with his wife he manages several philanthropic donor advised funds under the Noya Fields Family Funds ""umbrella"" supporting the environment, education, the arts and women's empowerment.Married with one kid, when people ask he tells them he's a stay at home dad.
